Our electrician suggested Lafferty Heating when we were having trouble with our gas wall furnace. He responded to our call promptly and came promptly. He fixed our problem in one visit without making a bigger issue out of it than it actually was. We were pleased with his work and pricing. We would definitely call him again if we needed help with our heating systems.

Top notch company with more experience than the other three companies I had tried prior combined - wish I had called them first! Seriously, these guys are great. They came on time, were professional, and were able to diagnose my heating issue when the others couldn't. They walked me through what they were doing, and through a bit of detective work, figured out what my problem was. I would HIGHLY recommend Lafferty Heating and truly enjoyed working with them. Had Peter come out when our heat went out, and I realized that we hadn't had our system serviced since we moved in the previous year.
We looked over the property appraisal after he gave us the bad news, and it confirmed that, yep, our system was old and rusty and on its last legs. Peter gave us a few options, one for an immediate fix that would take us through the winter season and probably not much more, one that would probably take us past a couple seasons while we figure out whether to go with a new traditional system, and a ground-up replacement ballpark.
We went with the reasonably priced second option since tech is changing, and we might be transitioning to solar/electric or whatever new magic is coming around the corner for the big long-term investment.
Parts ordering was fairly quick considering how long things can take out here, and the way the timing worked out, Peter was able to install while we were away, and we came back to a flawlessly functional heater in time for the chilly "atmospheric river" conditions of the next several weeks - niiiice THANKS PETE!

These guys are great. They are honest and hard working and lovely to work with. We have a very unique old house with lots of quirks and they have made our furnace and also our chimney functional. I would definitely recommend them highly.

Lafferty Heating corrected an improperly installed hot water heater vent. They performed the job quickly and at a good price
Very professional, polite, and took the time to explain everything that needed done, different types of metal, and fabrication. Very easy to talk to. Quick appointment times. Jeremy took pictures of everything on our roof so we could actually see what was needed. Very positive experience. Highly recommend them for all heating/cooling needs.
Friendly and competent servicemen came to clean out my dryer vent. The outside vent is near the roof line on the second floor, continually collected lint, and it was difficult to clean out. Without any pressure to sell and just making a suggestion, they clued me in to a more efficient vent (which was reasonably priced). They went back to the shop where they had one in stock, and quickly came back and installed. Now I have a more effective and nice looking outside vent. Soon my heater will need to be serviced...you can be sure I'll call Lafferty.
