Dear Jeremy, The pan is very nice looking. But, you didn’t check h2o flow. It was very

funny to me that when I tested it all the water stayed at the north end and did not flow

out. You are not a Plummer. You are a heater guy. So, I put 1/2 inch feet on the pan

and glued them permanently. they are made of rubber, 2 inch square from Miner’s. I

am telling you this and talking my time to tell you, only because I like you so much.

My electrician came the other day for his role in my sale. He was amazed at the

coolness of the house, in these days of rising temp. He said he was getting one. So, I

figured you’d be getting more of these units, especially if you advertise them, as an

inexpensive way to cool off. You fixed the thing making the bend in the filter. thank

you and it all works very well. The heater works perfect with it’s new legs also.

We recently had an issue with a water overflow in our bathroom. As the weather has

cooled off we went to turn on our heater and it would not light. Lafferty Heating arrived

and took a quick and thorough approach to identifying the issue with our unit not

Recently I requested a heating system inspection. The gentleman who came was

polite, considerate of not tracking dirt in home, and even brought to my attention wires

under the house (non-related to heating system), that had been chewed on.

The chimney area was leaking and heard a ping,ping,ping when it rained. Lafferty

Two men came to clean out my dryer vent…they worked well together and were

competent, helpful, and honest. My outside dryer vent was covered with a wire cage.

They recommended a more efficient vent closure…there was no pressure to do so,

but I readily agreed because the wire cage was notorious for collecting lint. Now I

have a cleaned out dryer vent and a good-looking vent closure with flaps that open

when the dryer is on (so the lint can more easily exit), and the flaps close when the

dryer is off (so birds can’t get in and make nests!). I will call D. Lafferty Heating this

Winter to service my heater, also. I highly recommend them.

The problem was identified and repairs made in a short time. My only complaint is

that the invoice was not properly broken down. It listed that the total repair was

$465.00 It is my understanding that Consumer Affairs requires the invoice to note

what was labor and what was parts.

Lafferty’s provides professional solutions and work to your heating, duct, and

metalwork roofing needs. I called in May and had a roof cap analysis and estimate for

needed replacement. (The original was done by Lafferty’s 21 years ago and being

very close to the water, the original had provided excellent wear and service with

proper maintenance. We mapped out a replacement schedule convenient to me and

coordinated the delivery, preparation, site clearance and new install day. During the

install, we discussed long range needs and with other parts of the roof and did the

install to facilitate that future work. additionally, Lafferty’s took the time after the install

to look at other items for discussion and work out options for those needs….cudos!!

Lafferty has handled our heating and cooling issues for more than a decade. They

designed and installed our system when we rebuilt on Sherwood Drive after the fire in

1994, then maintained it afterwards. When we moved, they handled complex issues

of an older house that had five separate heating systems, only two of which worked

and one of those was an obscure, hot-water radiant heating system. The guys have

been responsive, professional and easy to work with.
